How credits work

One credit, one finished Short

You pay when a video is built, not while you draft, edit or review it.

    A vertical Short up to 60 seconds uses 1 credit on its first successful build.

  • 5credits per long video

    A long video up to 10 minutes uses 5 credits. Long-form is rolling out after Shorts.

  • 5free rebuilds

    After review notes, rebuild the same video 5 times at no cost. Each further 5 rebuilds use the video's price once.

  • 0for failed builds

    A build that fails never uses a credit. A build already queued always finishes.

Plan credits renew every billing period and don't roll over. Annual plans get the year's credits up front. Credit packs last 12 months.

Billing questions

What is a video credit?

A credit pays for one finished video. A Short uses 1 credit and a long video (up to 10 minutes) uses 5. The credit is used when the video's first build succeeds, not when you draft or edit. After review notes, rebuilding the same video is free 5 times; after that, each further 5 rebuilds use the video's price once. Failed builds never use credits.

Is there a free trial? Do I need a card?

New workspaces get a 14-day trial with 3 Short credits, one channel and the Creator features. No card is needed. When the trial ends, nothing is deleted: you choose a plan to keep building videos.

What is the founding price?

Everyone we invite from the waitlist before public launch pays 25% less than the plan price, for as long as the subscription stays active. If you upgrade, the 25% carries over to the new plan. It doesn't apply to credit packs or add-ons. There's no countdown and no seat limit: the offer ends at public launch, and we'll email the date at least two weeks ahead.

Which currency will I pay in?

Paddle, our reseller, sets it from your country at checkout. Customers in India pay in rupees, with GST included in the price, by card or, where it's enabled, UPI. UPI can only be used for a subscription when the checkout totals under ₹15,000, so Pro and Studio annual plans need a card. Customers elsewhere see US dollars or Paddle's conversion into their local currency, with any sales tax or VAT added at checkout. India plans include fewer monthly credits than the dollar plans because their price is set for India.

Will I get a GST invoice?

Yes. Orders are processed by Paddle.com, our reseller and merchant of record, which handles payments, tax and invoices. Paddle emails a compliant tax invoice for every charge, and you can download them any time from Settings, Billing. Enter your business name and GSTIN or other tax ID at checkout and Paddle puts them on the invoice. Prices for India include GST.

Can I change plans later?

Yes. Upgrades take effect right away: you pay the difference for the rest of the billing period and get the extra credits for it straight away. Downgrades take effect at the end of the period you've paid for.

How do cancellations and refunds work?

You can cancel any time in Settings, Billing. Your plan keeps working until the end of the period you've paid for and then stops renewing. We don't refund part-used periods. Duplicate or mistaken charges are refunded in full. The Refund and Cancellation policy has the details.

What happens if I run out of credits?

New builds pause with a message, and builds already in the queue still finish. You can buy a credit pack, which lasts 12 months, or upgrade. Plan credits renew each billing period and don't roll over.

Do reviewers need a paid seat?

No. Reviewers, subject-matter experts, commenters and viewers are free and unlimited on every plan. Only maker seats count: people who create, edit or build videos, and organization admins.
