Privacy notice
Veltra by Chadura · Last updated 25 October 2026
This notice covers the waitlist form on theveltra.com, Veltra accounts and workspaces, and payments. [CHADURA LEGAL NAME] (“Chadura”) is responsible for your data.
The short version
We keep what we need to run Veltra, invite you, bill you and keep the service safe. We don't sell your data, we don't add you to a newsletter, and we never see or store your full card number.
Waitlist
- Your email address (required) and your company name, only if you give it.
- To stop spam: a one-way, salted hash of your IP address (never the address itself), a shortened browser user-agent, the page you signed up from and the time.
- We use it to invite you when a seat is available and to reply if you write to us. Entries that haven't been invited are reviewed and deleted after 12 months.
Your account and workspace
- Your name, email, password (stored only as a strong one-way hash), roles, and the activity log of what you do in the studio (approvals, uploads, changes), which your organization's admins can see.
- The content you create: scripts, videos, voice recordings, logos and music. It belongs to your organization.
- Keys for services you connect (YouTube, AI and voice providers) are stored encrypted and used only to do what you ask.
Payments
- Orders are processed by Paddle.com, our reseller and merchant of record, which handles payments, tax and invoices. Paddle collects your payment details, billing address and any tax ID at checkout, as an independent controller under its own privacy notice. Your card number goes straight from your browser to Paddle; Veltra never receives it.
- We keep what Paddle tells us about each order: the amount, currency, status, payment method type (for example “card” or “upi”), invoice number, and Paddle's reference numbers. We remove payment-method details, addresses and contact fields from Paddle's notifications before storing them.
- Your billing email, which we share with Paddle to find or create your Paddle customer record.
- We keep invoices and payment records for as long as Indian tax and accounting law requires ([COUNSEL TO CONFIRM PERIOD, e.g. 8 years]), even after you close your account.
Cookies
One session cookie keeps you signed in and protects forms against cross-site request forgery. The pricing page remembers your currency choice in your browser's local storage. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies. On the checkout page, Paddle's checkout window may set its own cookies for fraud prevention.
Who processes it for us
Our hosting and email providers, Paddle (our merchant of record) for orders, and the AI, voice and YouTube services you choose to connect. They process data on our or your behalf to run the service. We don't sell or rent your data.
Your choices
You can ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion. Email privacy@theveltra.com from the address on your account. We'll confirm when it's done. Deleting an account doesn't delete invoices we must keep by law.
